Marching Jaguars

Join the Marching Jaguars for a dynamic experience where music meets movement. Our marching band includes wind, percussion, and color guard members who perform at football games, competitions, and community events in the marching band season. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just beginning your journey, marching band is a welcoming environment where you'll make lifelong friends while learning discipline, teamwork, and the joy of performing on the field. Students earn 0.5 honors credit for participation.

Concert/Symphonic Band

Concert Band brings together musicians of various levels for indoor performances throughout the school year. Students will explore a wide range of music from classic band arrangements to contemporary works in a supportive ensemble setting. This is where the student musician develops their musical skills while performing in school functions, assessment, and concerts throughout the school year. This ensemble meets during a specific class period and students earn 1 academic credit for participation.

Wind Ensemble

Wind Ensemble is the premiere ensemble and therefore is an "audition only" group of advanced musicians who tackle more challenging repertoire of musical literature. Auditions are held in the spring for the following school year. Members of this ensemble show strong commitment and musicianship, and perform at assemblies, concerts, assessment, and select community events throughout the school year. All members of the Wind Symphony are required to audition for All-District/All-County Band, if accepted. This ensemble meets during a specific class period and students earn 1 honors credit for participation.

Orchestra

Orchestra brings string players together to perform a diverse repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary masterpieces. Students will explore the richness and depth of orchestral music through performances in school functions, assessment, and concerts throughout the school year. This ensemble meets during a specific class period and students earn 1 academic credit for participation.

Jazz Ensemble

Jazz Ensemble became an official class in 2023 and explores jazz, Latin, funk, rock, and pop styles. For students who love improvisation, grooving rhythms, and contemporary sounds, this ensemble is an exciting way to expand a student musician's palette and perform in a different energy than traditional bands. This group performs in concerts and community events throughout the school year. This ensemble meets during a specific class period and students earn 1 academic credit for participation.  Students would audition for this class in the spring proceeding the upcoming school year.
